Hard Easy

One of my favorite colors is red. I love red it is all over my house. Well, we might have to change it because at our house we now bleed BLUE. Justin was accepted to BYU's graduate program. We are thrilled!! He starts this summer and will work on it for 2 years straight. When he first applied he asked if I believed in miracles I said of course. Well it is true miracles do happen. All joking aside he will be great they couldn't have asked for a more qualified hard working candidate. I can just see him as this cool young administrator telling kids to get their acts together. I love it! So when I am complaining that I never see my husband and that he doesn't have time to put his dirt clothes in the basket remind me HARD EASY. It is a saying we have in our house it can be hard now and easy later or it can be easy now and hard later- I choose hard easy every time. I wish that it could be easy easy but thats life!

We couldn't be more proud! Justin is a hard worker and has the eye on the right prize! Way to go, good to have someone go to the Y where your Dad went and I grew up running all around that campus!

Congratulations! We are on the opposite end of this situation...Mike graduates with his MBA in 4 weeks (after two very stressful years)!!! So, I can tell you that it IS possible! You CAN make it through! It's not easy, but I've found that you just have to find little ways to reward yourself on those long, lonely days & nights. Put the kids to bed and give yourself a pedicure or do a project that makes you happy. (You could even do your quilting homework!) It makes the time go by faster & you don't find yourself having pity parties all the time. Anyway, if you're ever having a hard day and need a shoulder to cry on...I will totally understand...because I've lived it! :)
